In June we will be publishing an issue of Catalogue & Index which will focus on career development. We invite contributions covering any aspect of learning, at any stage of your career. Did you learn about cataloguing at library school, by distance learning or on the job? Was your training an adequate preparation for working life? How have you kept abreast of new developments like RDA? Have you taught or supported others in cataloguing and if so, how have you set about it?
We would like to hear your experiences, good and bad, and the advice you would give to others entering or considering a role which involves cataloguing. Please contact the editors, Heather Jardine (heatherjardine402@hotmail.com) and Helen Garner (h.j.garner@shu.ac.uk) with your ideas.
